Most of my posts are attempts at enlightening people out there, articulating my path. Most of the blogs I’ve found are doing the same. Contemplator, What’s Missing, Carsten Fleck, Zenshredding, Wiccanwanderings, and probably thousands of others. Different words describing a similar journey.
But we all must go back into the world after we post. We have jobs and spouses and cars that need oil changes. We have extended families who, perhaps like mine, don’t really care about the path, the Way, the Hero’s Journey- consciousness expanding. So I thought, what is the point really? Why speak truth to only those who also speak truth.
But, as often occurs, I read this quote by Goethe on Contemplator and the fog cleared again. The truth must be spoken over and over, as much as possible, until everybody hears it- even to those who also speak it. We can’t force it on anybody but we have to keep going, keep speaking it, keep writing for those who do seek it.
At least in continuing to speak it I keep myself connected to deeper meaning, to truth, and this keeps me away from the continual lure of superficiality.

Heard someone say my name!
I don’t think we do only speak truth to those that know truth. In part it’s true we do; others read and move on, perhaps taking only an iota of our meaning but keeping it with them.
Me, I write to try and organise in my own head what it is I mean, what it is I know. Ususally nothing!! If anyone’s listening it’s a bonus. Saves me from talking to myself!
I like the distinction between speaking truth and attempting to foist it on others – something I hate and detest. If enough speak, the world will ring like a bell.
